Carter Verhaeghe scored the game-winning goal for the Panthers, while Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl each had a goal and an assist for the Oilers.
The Oilers will now face the winner of the Eastern Conference Final between the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers.
