Pune Metro’s Biggest Interchange Station, Swargate To Be Opened By Prime Minister Narendra Modi Soon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the inauguration of the Pune Metro’s largest interchange station at Swargate on February 11, 2023.
This station is being developed as a major transit hub for the city and will connect the two proposed metro lines - Line 1 (Pimpri Chinchwad to Swargate) and Line 2 (Vanaz to Ramwadi).
Swargate Metro Station
The Swargate Metro Station is expected to serve a large number of commuters as it is located in a densely populated area of the city.
This station will also be integrated with other modes of public transport and will include facilities like a bus terminus and a taxi stand.
Inauguration Ceremony
During the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Modi is likely to interact with the beneficiaries and inspect the facilities at the station.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, and other dignitaries are also expected to attend the event.
